I was working on the faces and skin of the women today. So frustrating. Trying to get an eye right takes me forever. Then I look at it and know it needs to come out. I want to go back to these women and take pictures of them again just posing for me and maybe even bring the painting and try to do it right there in their yard.

You're right, faces are so difficult - if you're off just a little, it changes the likeness. I'm sticking to "furry faces" for a while but hope to work myself up to figurative and portrait work.
I just love your colors as always! I like the faces too. But if you are going to make them be "portraits", it's much harder...a good challenge!
