I went plein air painting today with my friend Judith and another painter, Mary Jo, who teaches painting at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She is on sabbatical. It is beautiful out there. You would remember it, Jane. It is where we painted the haystack.

Elizabeth - after too much traveling, we're finally home for a while. Your work is so compelling - I love the scenes. I'm glad you're getting out to paint. Our blog should be called "One Painter" - ha! But ... Jane and I are both ready to get back with it. I'm working on another block painting now as a gift. I'll post soon.
