This is a section of a photograph taken while a family was cutting their corn in San Bartolome. The harvest is done in three parts. Cutting the corn, then collecting the corn, then gathering the remaining stalks for the animals. Weeks pass between the different stages.

Another good field study - I really like the contrast with the figures and the background! I'm heading to the painting room right now so I'm back on this week - whew, finally!
