This is a small portion and close up of a painting by Fedor Zakharov, a Russian Impressionist, with work at the Beaver Creek Fine Arts Gallery. I just loved his work and I want to paint like that!!! What do you think?

I love the way he paints! His vibrant use of color, loads of paint on his brush, and the looseness of his strokes. He is a real master and I would love to paint like him!
I have a very similar style of painting to this but apparently by a different Russian artist in 1970. Did others copy his style?
