Man with bulls day

This is another painting I am working on. I want to use bright colors but right now they are too bright.

Tree in Etla

Judith and I started this tree en plein air but now the field has completely changed so I am working on it in the studio.

I went painting with Judith and decided to try a looser and more ample paint/brush stroke approach. I have decided that the paintings that I am always attracted to are the ones that have loose brush strokes that are loaded with paint and applied in a very confident way. I want to paint like that so I am starting to really try to do this.

North to Silver City on the Lordsburg road. The colors and intensity in the photo are off a little but you get the idea.

I started a portrait of a young woman from San Bartolome. Judith and I have gone to her house for two sittings. Now I will try to finish it at home.
