Women Planting

I have finally, today, gotten back to painting. I decided to start with the earth then the flowers and the agave. I also worked on the mountains.

Marian's Blocks

These are antique blocks that belong to my sister-in-law. The "P" is for Polglase, "M" for Marian, "D" for Don and the little blocks are for their three children (all grown now with kids of their own). I'm taking a break from this one for a while - way too picky and way too small! I should have made them twice as big. The piece is 6x8 so the blocks are about life size. I'll come back and clean up some edges and make corrections when it dries some more.
